Since the beginning of the devastating war in Ukraine, SGA-supported pastors and their churches have been actively using their God-given gifts. They are feeding people, distributing bread, helping to host families in bomb shelters, and transporting people who want to evacuate.
But their service is not without great risk! Pastor Ivan, who serves in a Ukrainian region under non-stop attacks, shares:
By God’s grace, we receive opportunities to preach the Gospel and pray for the soldiers and police at the checkpoints, to witness and pray for those who stand in line for food and to give them the New Testament. Often, we have to continue ministry during shelling, but the Lord protects!”
An estimated 6.5 million people have been displaced inside Ukraine. That means more and more mothers, children, elderly, disabled have had to flee their homes, losing nearly everything, and left with nowhere to go.
The needs are increasing with every passing hour, and hearts are open to God like no other time! Please, help SGA reach these millions of hurting people who have been impacted by the war in Ukraine with God’s love and eternal salvation.
SGA is relying on the generosity of friends like you to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of people impacted by the war in Ukraine. Your grant for Ukraine will help fund the ministry of SGA-supported pastors and churches — and provide supplemental assistance to these Christian leaders as they serve where needed most. You will help meet critical needs like:
Support for pastors and churches
Food
Medicine and hygiene items
Clothing and blankets
Funding for missionaries and Christian workers
A clear presentation of the Gospel
Scriptures and other faith-building materials
Crisis counseling
Training and equipping more Christian workers and translators
Transportation and emergency equipment
And, someday, helping restore churches and Bible schools
Each opportunity to meet an urgent physical need is an opportunity to share a clear presentation of the Gospel.
Please prayerfully consider recommending a grant to bless SGA-supported pastors, churches, and the Ukrainian people they faithfully serve.
