With the rise of massive attacks on Ukraine’s power plants, the question of needed Solar Power Survival Systems has again risen. If donors would like to help, we are in need of 15-20 more of these sets produced by SonSet Solutions. More requests for generators are expected as well.  This request comes from a region that is currently facing a new military offensive. Pastor Alexander shares more about the situation in his region below:

My name is Alexander, a minister of the church in an embattled region. First of all, I thank you for the solar panel you provided for our meeting. Thank God, it is a blessing for us and for the church. There are frequent power outages in our area and the church has been without electricity for two months now because the whole street is practically destroyed, but only by the grace of the Lord the church is still intact. The roof was damaged, several minor holes, the window glass was broken, one side of the roof was pulled up by the blast wave, the lamps in the building were damaged, but in general the church is intact. The Lord is good to us!

For some time, we took off the panel because there was shelling, but we use it to charge our smartphones and use it to provide light in the church.

There was a large evacuation, many families with children left, but the elderly stayed in their homes. People who do not yet know the Lord Jesus Christ come to the service, so we hold services every Sunday, as long as the Lord protects this community, we hold services, even though it is dangerous. We help all those in need, people gather to listen to the Word of God, pray and wait for the answer from the Lord.

We have a request to the SGA, if possible, to provide 2-3 solar panels with batteries for private houses, for believers who have no electricity for several days or even weeks. In the house where I live with my family, everything is powered by the electricity grid.

When there is no electricity, it is very difficult, especially in winter, when it gets dark early. Please, pray for us and, if possible, support us with panels or mini-generators. We sincerely thank everyone who is helping us through these times of war. May the Lord bless you all!
