Thanks to the generosity of our friends like you, SGA has partnered with churches and teams in Poland and surrounding areas to deliver supplies to those affected by the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam. Since the destruction of the dam in southern Ukraine a few weeks ago, thousands of Ukrainians have been displaced from their homes, and the needs are increasing in the local churches who are welcoming them in. Churches in Poland like the one in the video have been working hard to provide help, aid, and relief to local churches for those affected by this catastrophe. As Ola shares at the end of the video, “All of this is possible thanks to your help which we are very grateful for.”
Please enjoy this video below and share with others to show the amazing difference our friends like you are making overseas! With every gift of love, the Gospel is made known through food, aid, and encouragement to those who are suffering and facing catastrophes.
Approximate Translation of Video:
Hello, my name is Ola. We are in Poland right now in the warehouse of Baptist Trinity, a local partner of Slavic Gospel Association. Just now, we will be loading a semitruck that will be sent to Kherson in Ukraine where the dam has been destroyed. The water in that area has been contaminated, but thanks to your help we were able to buy five big cases that will be sent to that area to restore drinking water for communities there. We are also sending 31 pallets of food and hygiene products that will make about 3,000 packages to be distributed there through local churches. In addition to that, we are sending detergents to clean apartments, houses, and other places where the floodwater has already receded. Next week, we will send a whole big semitruck with bunkbeds for people who had to evacuate from areas of Kherson. We want to thank you for your support. All of this is possible thanks to your help which we are very grateful for. God bless you.
