Thanks to the support of friends like you, God is using the darkest of places and circumstances to draw sinners closer to Him.
Below is the testimony of the leader of a church-based drug rehab center in Central Asia. As you can see, God’s love reaches hearts no matter their circumstances. Amazingly, God is using this man and his ministry to reach children too! At this center, they are ministering to a local orphanage. The orphaned children come to the church service at the center as well. The testimony of this man has been transcribed in English below.
“I am here since December 2019. I had a severe alcohol addiction, but here I heard that God loves me and it is here that I realized who I am, who God is for me, and His love. Here I found faith in God, received Him as my personal Savior and Lord.
“Later, I stayed and God entrusted me with serving here at this place. The Lord gives me strength, patience, and wisdom, and I am glad that I can serve Him in this very place. As for my ministry, I am a leader assistant, that is, I am a person in charge of activities taking place here. I am in charge, first of all, before God and I try to do everything in my power so that people who get here, the people whom God leads here (as we believe, it is not we, but He who draws people) will be shown in the first place the path to the Lord so they will turn to Him.”
