Aggression is increasing in the Ukraine war with recent enemy strikes destroying 40 percent of the country’s power stations. Widespread blackouts last several hours a day in affected regions, and Ukrainians have been asked to only use washing machines and other electrical equipment if urgently needed.
Opposition strikes seem to be aimed not at military targets, but at civilians — with 62 people killed over just one weekend earlier this month. What’s more, as the harsh winter months approach, it is possible more people will be displaced from their homes. Without heat, there is sure to be a loss of life.
Please pray for SGA’s network of local churches throughout Ukraine as they minister to the physical and spiritual needs of a new wave of internally displaced persons (IDPs) searching for safety andheat. May God provide food, wood, coals, generators, and His hope to help the people of Ukraine.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
