Editor’s Note: The following report and images are provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

Here is another ministry report from a pastor who received SGA-provided aid shipped from Poland. Thate means that the food bags you see pictured here were made possible through the generous gifts and prayer support of friends like you!

Living Out The Love Of Christ 1

As you read through all that God is doing in this community in Ukraine, let’s thank Him for including us in His life-changing work. May we continue to hold fast to Romans 12:10-13 as we partner with our spiritual family members to live out the love of Christ . . . Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.

Greetings, friends in the Lord!

On behalf of our church, I, as the pastor, would like to thank our brothers and sisters for the food aid. People are very exhausted and need all possible help. Christians are also tired both physically and morally, but God, by His grace, gives us strengthand guides us, so we can serve those who suffer much more than we do. God cares about His children so wonderfully, and we could write and write about His love and care.

The people in our church are mostly elderly, and those who are younger are trying to work somewhere to earn money for their families.

Living Out The Love Of Christ Testimony 2

Here is a Christian sister, Sofia. She is 80 years old and always comes to the service. Her daughter lives with her, and she works hard to earn money. Thank God she has a job. They are thankful for the food aid.

Living Out The Love Of Christ Testimony 1

Here is Vitaly and his nine-year-old daughter. His wife has died. The girl has no mother. They love to come to our Sunday services to hear the Word of God. Vitaly does not have a job, but he tries and helps many pensioners in the village to work in their gardens, helps with the household and has a small income for his daughter to buy something for her. He is learning how to grow vegetables on his own small piece of land. He is sincerely grateful for the food aid.

People in our villages in [this] region survive the best they can. We thank the Lord that we have good land, we can grow our own vegetables, fruits, berries, and in this way God gives us a harvest from our physical work. We ask that this year we would have a good harvest, so that people would not be starving and could share with others.

May God protect and bless your whole team, who are so faithfully caring for us here in Ukraine!

Sincerely,

Pastor
