Editor’s Note: The report, images and video below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

In the most difficult days of the war in Ukraine, God has been there for His people. The Solar Power Survival Systems you help to provide SGA-supported churches remind believers that God’s Son is “the Light of the world” (John 8:12). And He is still shining His powerful light in the darkness today.

We thank you for helping our brothers and sisters and Christ as it is your generosity that makes these Solar Power Survival Systems possible. See how SGA-supported Pastor Viktor is grateful for this provision for his congregation—and for those who are seeking— when you read his report below. Then,  watch a recent Bible study held at the church thanks to energy from the sun!

Dear brothers and sisters, greetings!

Thank you so much for the alternative solar system for us! It allows us to provide discipleship and evangelistic groups on the basis of our church, regardless of whether there is electricity or not! Also, this solar system allows us to use it in evangelistic trips to the de-occupied territories where there are always problems with electricity!

In the photos and videos a youth group with both believers and non-believers who study the Bible, pray, sing and charge their smartphones at the same time! God’s blessings to you all! May the name of the Lord be glorified!

Sincerely,
Viktor

Translation:

We thank you, brothers and sisters, for the wonderful solar panel that allows us to hold meetings, evangelistic activities, discipleship groups, have electricity in the room, charge our smartphones . . . May the Lord bless you all!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
