People are coming to faith in SGA-supported Pastor Viktor’s village in Ukraine. Some of those even lived across the road from the church are now entering and hearing the Gospel. In all that we do, seeing the Gospel go forth through the churches we serve—and more lives saved for eternity—remains the priority.

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:19-21).

Dear brothers and sisters of SGA!

Thank you for your kind hearts, for your prayers. What you are doing, and how you are serving God and His Church in Ukraine, I believe, will be valued by God, and His valuation will be in His rich blessings!

We have received humanitarian food aid from you. We are in great need of it, first of all, the church itself, but also people living in our city and in the villages around our district. We have many IDPs [internally displaced persons]. Many of them no longer have homes. They have no money to buy food. We decided to share what we have with them. We made a condition: the distribution should be done after the church services. Those who come, sit for two hours at the service and receive food at the end. We are happy that they sit and listen to the sermons and sing together with us. And then they come to the next Sunday church service on their own. 

At present, we have 22 repentances before the Lord, nine of them have expressed their desire to be baptized—we are preparing and teaching them. This is your investment and ours, but it is all for God to be glorified in everything! We thank everyone who donated, who raised funds, who purchased the products, packed them all and delivered them to us! This is tremendous work! You have done a great thing for our people, for the Lord! Thank you!

We put the food packages in each seat in the church, because on Sunday morning service these seats will be filled with people.

The service is over. For those who come and listen is a small reward for them at the end of service. Every Sunday, even if there is no food distribution, there are no empty seats. Neighbors, who have never been to the House of Prayer, every Sunday, they dress up and rush to the church now. People say, “We have never seen or heard of such a service,” and they live across the street though. This is what God does, when He gives a right decision to His church. Praise Him for His work!

This is a displaced person from Mariupol. She is very grateful for your help. She and her son, who is 16 years old, fled from the war. They arrived without any belongings at all.

May God bless you in your walk and work for God and for the people!
