Steadfast In Our Focus

Recently, the Wagner Group called for rebellion in Russia, however, with their limited military capacity, they were unable to secure a victory. It is difficult to know the whole story and much confusion surrounds this attempt at rebellion. “Much of what we see in the media is from outside. But what was happening inside was probably different,” SGA’s Vice President of Ministry Operations, Eric Mock said in an interview last month with Mission Network News.

In the midst of chaos and confusion—and as war continues in Ukraine—SGA’s focus remains on equipping churches, advancing the Gospel, and ministering to the hurting and lost to make faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

“SGA continues to focus on serving churches on the front line,” Mock says. “In the middle of these very difficult days, people are coming to faith. We’re seeing churches [that previously had only] 10 or 15 people now have 100 people.” It is the ongoing generosity and prayer support of friends like you that God is using to equip these congregations for life-changing outreach. May He be glorified and praised!

In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.

Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
