SGA’s Senior Vice President of Ministry Operations, Eric Mock, recently sent this encouraging news while on a ministry trip in Israel. Thousands of Jewish immigrants from Russian-speaking countries have come to Israel over the course of many years. Praise God that He works through your faithful support and fervent prayers to prepare men like Wilhelm for church ministry!
“I met with Oleg K. and Pastor Boris about five years ago, and we talked about the need for a need for a missionary pastor in Beer Sheva. Wilhelm had just graduated from Israel College of the Bible [ICB] with a certificate in Biblical Counseling and a Diploma in Biblical Studies. Pastor Boris agreed and accepted the responsibility to disciple Wilhelm both as a pastor and also missionary at the Drug Rehab center there. Wilhelm grew, the church grew and lives were turning to Christ.
“Today we ordained Wilhelm as the pastor of the church. What a joy for SGA to have a small part in helping plant the church here, provide Wilhelm with training and support him as he proclaims the Gospel and makes disciples in Beer Sheva.
“Here are the pictures that in part capture the joy of the moment, and you can see the fruit of his labor.”
