In the middle of June, ballistic missiles were launched on the city of Kiev. While Ukraine’s defenses intercepted and destroyed the air targets, the falling debris took the lives of three people (including a child) and injured 14 others.
This is daily life in Ukraine, and it is the SGA-supported churches that bring hope to the people who live in the midst of war. Our spiritual family members are grateful for you. Through your generosity and prayer support, you are helping them persevere and provide brief times of normalcy to their sons and daughters through Summer Bible Camps.
For children who are used to running for safety whenever they hear an air raid siren—who never know from one day to the next if a rocket will hit their home—the gift of attending a Gospel-based camp in a safe area of Ukraine and meeting Jesus is truly life changing! We look forward to all that God will do to bring healing to hurting young hearts this month and in the weeks ahead.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
