Editor’s Note: The video and images below were provided by an SGA ministry team member in Central Asia.

SGA’s vice president of ministry operations, Eric Mock, visited an SGA-supported center for abandoned women and children during his recent ministry trip to Central Asia.

“I discovered that five of the 10 children there are in fact orphan children,” Eric says. “The heartbreaking part for me is that one child, Jasmine, is the daughter of a street kid who I know who lived in a border village. The last time I was there, I held her as a baby. Now she is abandoned to the care of this center. This is an incredible and faithful ministry as the women and children are growing in their knowledge and love of Christ.

Watch as a group of girls sings a song of praise in the video below. Then, as you look at the images, pray that the women and children from this center will continue to draw close to the Lord . . . and in Him become spiritually strong.

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
