Hello my friends,
For the last 48 hours I have been visiting churches and ministries. The churches here were literally started by believers, exiled and basically left to die. Their initial homes were dug into the ground and covered over with limited resources; and the land is barren. Yet the central church here was formed by these prisoners. In this very desolate land, a faithful church was planted and more have followed—not a strategic church planting plan, but the result of faithful believers blooming wherever God plants them.
Here are pictures from the churches. Almost all of them were theaters during Soviet times, abandoned and rebuilt by believers. One was an abandoned kindergarten building and one has a center for the elderly. Thank you for helping make this possible!
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28)
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
