Recently in Israel, Yura—an SGA-supported missionary pastor—and his wife Luda were able to minister to Ukrainian refugees. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, the Gospel is going forth and churches are being formed among Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking Jewish refugees!
See in the report below and hear from Pastor Yura how your generosity is making a difference for Ukrainians in need in Israel . . .
“We are heartily thankful for your help as we minister to the refugees from Ukraine. On Easter, we held a picnic attended by forty-five people. They were very grateful for the communication and for the food gifts. This time, we prepared grocery gifts that included canned food, cheese, sweets, canned fish, butter, and a festive lunch.
The people were grateful and sent us their feedback in our chat:
We send our huge thank-you to all organizers for a wonderful time at the women’s group and for today’s picnic! You are one big friendly family! Thank you for your warm reception, delicious treats, and for a great time that we spent together… Thank you all for being there for us… Thank you for a wonderful time; we felt as if we were at home in Ukraine. We are very grateful to you for each meeting!”
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
