What a difference one generator can make! SGA-supported Pastor Sergei wants you to know how much his church has been blessed by this gift. Thanks to the generator, the congregation has been able to host two families of IDPs [internally displaced persons] in their building.
God — working through the generosity of friends like you — has made this possible in the harsh Ukraine winter, while power outages continue leaving suffering people without electricity for sometimes up to 12 hours a day. Read more from Sergei’s message for you, and then watch his congregation say thank you.
Sergei:
Greeting to you, my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord! [Our church] would like to express our sincere gratitude to SGA and sponsors for their help. We are deeply grateful to be cared for and supported in this time of war in Ukraine. May our Heavenly Father bless you all!
On video, we show you that the generator is working great and we express our deepest thanks! Due to the very cold weather outside, it is hard to hear at the very beginning of the video. Sorry for the poor recording! We only discovered it later, when all the church members had gone home.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
