An SGA-supported church team recently traveled to a region close to the front lines of war, bringing food – and the message of the Gospel – with them. Their visit was a risk to their own lives—yet it was a risk they were willing to take for the sake of becoming the hands and feet of Jesus to people who are in desperate need.
Christians in Ukraine face unimaginable circumstances. Yet time and again we hear of those choosing this narrow path for the sake of mission. Concerning their visit, one SGA-supported pastor named Dima wrote, “Our team was in the village where there are fierce battles, but people still live there. We brought food and hygiene provided by SGA. These people have nowhere else to go. Winter is coming soon!”
Winter makes life even more difficult for those whose lives have been upended by the effects of war. Please join us in continually praying for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine who desperately need God’s comforting presence during these difficult days.
In a time of great uncertainty, God is bringing help, healing, and hope to the people of Ukraine through SGA-supported pastors, churches, a seminary, and SGA-sponsored Compassion Ministry. Be a part of God’s incredible work with your generosity and prayer support.
Your gift of compassion helps struggling people with emergency aid that generally includes Scripture materials, food, medicine, warm clothing, and shoes.
